Bridging the Education Gap

     At Bridging the Education Gap, we specialize in special education law.  Our primary focus is preschool and elementary school integration.  We empower students to self advocate.  We encourage students to collaborate with their school to access a free and appropriate public education.  

      Most teachers devote their lives to helping our exceptional children.   We appreciate our schools and their hard working staff.  Yet, sometimes, we can do more to help children integrate.

    That is where we lend a hand.  We work with you and the rest of your IEP team to ensure your child has access to a full range of assessments, accommodations, modifications, goals, services and appropriate placement in the least restrictive environment.   Those services help children integrate with their general education peers.

       We believe in the power of collaboration.  We believe in the power of listening.   We believe in creative problem solving.  Yet, sometimes those efforts don’t succeed.  If needed, we can initiate alternative dispute resolution and a due process hearing.  Protecting the civil rights of our children is our mission.
